Tell tale signs that you may have a rodent problem:

Droppings, particularly near foodstuffs Gnawed and damaged stockDamage to materials such as insulation, cardboard and plastic, which are used for nesting. Nests are usually located in warm, dark areas. Pungent smells, as mice and rat nests give off an odour that is stale and muskyScuffling sounds, particularly during the night when rats are generally active. Grease marks and smears where rodents bodies have rubbed against supplies/stockSightings, particularly during the day for mice and during the night for rats.
